Hey there, I'm Kim.
Think of me as your new design fairy godmother.
I’m going to sprinkle some magic (and seeds) all over the place so you can grow a beautiful brand and have fun too!
I’ve been designing brand experiences for over 17 years. For me, there’s nothing more exciting than working on a custom logo, figuring out a gorgeous color palette, or playing with fonts for an hour... or 10.
Brand design just lights me up!
But while I love designing brands, I know it's hard for you.
It's not what you do and it just doesn’t come easy. And if you can’t afford to work with someone like me, then it can be downright frustrating.
So after having one last heartbreaking conversation, I thought, there has to be a way to help new business owners. Because if you can’t design, but you also can’t afford a designer, what are you supposed to do?
THAT IS WHEN BRAND SEEDS WAS BORN
I was tired of not being able to offer passionate entrepreneurs the help they needed just because they couldn't afford to pay me to be their designer.
Sure, I could point them to great free resources but I heard time and again that DIYing your brand is hard, there's no feedback, there's no knowing if you're doing it right.
That is why my heart has been set on building a community where all that can change.
What is the Brand Seeds Community?
Brand Seeds is a community for brand new business owners, for serial entrepreneurs, for anyone that has ever felt stuck and frustrated trying to DIY their brand and grow their business.

The Basics without the Overwhelm

What if I already have some of my branding done? Can the Brand Seeds Community work for me?
You alrady have some of your branding done? GO YOU! That's amazing!
Will the Brand Seeds Community work for you? Of course! Your brand isn't EVER done. Your brand grows and evolves with you and your business. And when is support ever something you wouldn't need?
But why couldn't this community be free?
You know, I actually tried that and people seemed to take it for granted and they didn't put in the work.
So instead of just opening this community up to just anyone, I want to open it up to business owners who are DRIVEN.
I want you to take advantage of the community. I want you to tell me what you want to learn, so I can teach you. I want you to make this community your own. In order to do that, you have to be committed and that's why this community isn't free, because it's only for those who see the value in what we're trying to build. I hope you see it too!
Will I still need a designer in the end?
That totally depends on you!
I'm not looking to replace designers, we're a great bunch, we care... A LOT! But while you're in here you may just build something you really love and it may be a little longer before you need a professional designer. Or you may realize you want to make it a goal to work with someone as soon as you can.
Either way, this community won't take the place of working with a designer, it's simply going to give you the instruction and the courage to get your brand and business out there so you can get to that point one day!
What if I don't like the community?
While I certainly hope that doesn't happen, we're not for everyone. With a 14-day "no questions asked" refund policy, there's really no reason to worry about that.
You'll most likely LOVE the community but in the event that you don't, all you have to do is request a refund within 14 days and you'll get your money back, no questions asked.
Will I learn how to use programs in this community?
My plan is to teach you how to work with many different tools but I we won't be diving too deeply into any one program.
The goal is to create a safe space to learn about your brand as a whole and to receive instruction, support, and inspiration to keep working, because the work on your brand is never done.
I already belong to your Free Resource Library, is this the same?
Not at all! The Resource Library is fantastic and some of the items in that library will certainly be found inside the Brand Seeds library (they are really good after all), but the appeal of the Brand Seeds community is the instruction you'll receive.
It's very different to go through free resources or a course on your own, where you may or may not understand what you've just learned.
It's another to have someone teaching you each month and sitting with you on a weekly basis to review your work and your peers' work. You get SO much more from this type of setting and that's why I'm passionate about bringing this community to you!
